Neale-Wade Academy, a secondary school in March, recently held a successful staff charity football match, raising over £2K. The money raised went towards Children in Need and supporting the family of Nikita, a Neale-Wade student who sadly passed away recently.

A total of £2488.37 was raised by the school community on Friday 29 November, with those attending having made a donation to watch the match.

The red team were very pleased to have won 5-2 against the yellow team.

Graham Horn, Principal at Neale-Wade Academy, part of Active Learning Trust, said:

“I am so proud of our staff, students and the wider community for working together to raise money for an excellent cause.

“This is an annual event for Neale-Wade Academy and we look forward to holding similar events in the future.”
