Currently we have three part-time Trust SENDCos. All three postholders - Teri Tanner, Bryony Allen and May Mackay-Morris bring a significant amount and breadth of experience to the roles. The experience these postholders have includes working for Local Authorities, leading successful SEND departments in Primary, Secondary and Middle School settings, as well as having a SEND Consultancy business. This breadth of knowledge is being used well to support school leaders in strategically developing SEND provision at school level as well as in the central Trust SEND offer.

The Trust SENDCos and Head of SEND have schools allocated to them as the main link to the SEND central team. Currently these are:

Bryony Allen: Isle of Ely, Pakefield, Reydon, Earith, Cromwell and Sidegate

Simon Bainbridge: Highfield Ely, Highfield Littleport and LINC 19 - 25

May Mackay-Morris: Westwood and Grove, Neale Wade and Chesterton

Teri Tanner: Red Oak, Albert Pye and Ravensmere, Chantry, Kingsfield, Gusford and Hillside

Our SEND services to schools include regular visits to support SENCOs, close liaison with local authorities to ensure appropriate provision for every pupil, and specialist training for both staff and SENCOs provided by our expert team.
