There have been celebrations in March this morning as A level results at the town’s Neale Wade Academy revealed a surge in top grades. Forty-five per cent of entries achieved A* to B grades, up 12 per cent on last year. The school’s overall pass rate was 98.6 per cent, with 100 per cent passes in 25 out of 27 subject areas. And officials say all students have achieved the grades they needed to secure places at the first choice universities.
