Red Oak Primary School in Lowestoft hosted a careers morning for Year 5 and 6 pupils. Westwood Primary School were invited to join with this amazing opportunity. Pupils had the opportunity to ask questions they had prepared about hours, pay, uniform, standards, qualifications, enjoyment and career development. Together with the 'Lowestoft Rising' initiative, pupils found out about The Excelsior Trust, The Fire Service, East Coast Health Services, Lovewell Blake Chartered Accountants, Fosters Solicitors, Halifax Mortgage Service, School Nursing and many many more possible careers! Liam Year 5 at Red Oak commented on the event " An excellent morning with the opportunity to learn what I need to do at school to get the job I want!" Thank you to everyone that attended the morning and gave freely of their time.
