Madison McCann

Madison McCann has seven years of experience working in the Primary sector in Suffolk schools. During her career so far she has been Art lead, Design Technology lead and is now part of the English team at Pakefield Primary School. Her role in the English team derived from her passions in oracy and writing. She has worked extremely hard over the past two years to implement an oracy project throughout the school which underpins how fundamentally important oracy is in the classroom. During this project she worked with Cambridge University to embed how oracy skills should be taught to all children throughout the school. With a specific focus on vocabulary in the first year and oracy skills and presentational skills in the second; children’s confidence and purposeful speech has flourished in all year groups.
