Tom Smy

Tom is Head of Science, having previously held the roles of KS3 Coordinator of Science and Head of Biology. He is in his second year with the Trust. Tom has participated in the Prince’s Trust Institute scheme and, as a result, the department has been successful in achieving the Prince’s Trust Mark for raising awareness of Science and a love of the subject. Tom’s focus has been on re-developing the KS3 curriculum to make it more investigative based and better prepare students with the skills they require to do well at KS4.
