Alex McKay

Alex is an experienced Lead Practitioner for MFL. She is a member of the school’s extended leadership team with specific responsibility for Teaching and Learning. Through observations, coaching and mentoring, Alex supports colleagues to improve the quality of their teaching and pupil progress. She regularly networks with MFL teachers across East Anglia to keep up-to-date, share good practice and to moderate to ensure robust grade predictions. Alex is part of the ALT NQT planning group working with mentors and NQTs across the Ipswich hub. Alex has recently qualified as a SLE (Specialist Leader in Education) for MFL.
