Andrew Knowles

Andrew is the head of subject for History. He teaches across all Key Stages in History, from Primary transition to Post 16. He has experience in creating a History YouTube channel with over 140,000 viewers. Andrew has participated in the Prince’s Trust Institute scheme and, as a result, the department was successfully awarded the Prince’s Trust Mark. He continues to work closely alongside the Prince’s Trust Institute in order to maintain high standards of teaching and learning. He regularly acts as a mentor for new trainee teachers coming into the profession. He is also actively involved with the Duke of Edinburgh award.
