Jules Lawrence

Jules is a highly experienced class teacher who has been successfully teaching in small schools and mixed classes for 18 years. Her classroom practice is highly acclaimed by leadership and school advisers, who have observed her. She is particularly skilled in engaging children in her lessons and promoting a love of learning. She achieves this through planning exciting learning experiences and displaying great enthusiasm for the subject being taught. Furthermore, her use of skilled questioning and impressive understanding of each child’s individual needs allows for a bespoke learning experience for all - giving children a strong sense of worth. Her lessons have been acknowledged and celebrated on a number of occasions in Ofsted reports. As well as teaching, Jules leads both Science and Maths across the school. She uses her leadership role to encourage others to teach exciting and engaging lessons to further promote this ‘love of learning’ across the school.
