Littleport and East Cambridgeshire Academy (LECA) is a new, state Secondary school primarily serving the popular and thriving village of Littleport, Cambridgeshire. It opened in September 2017 with a cohort of 84 Year 7 students and will grow year on year until it reaches capacity of 600 in 2022. LECA shares its campus with Littleport Leisure – a brand new leisure centre – and Highfield Littleport Academy (SEN) meaning the opportunities for all users are vast. The vision for the Academy and the campus as a whole is to be the go-to location in East Cambridgeshire to learn and to spend leisure time.
We’re a small but perfectly formed team ready and able to support a newly qualified teacher in their first post. This is the perfect school for a new teacher. With just three year groups from September, this position allows you time to grow and develop your practice, fully supported by our highly experienced staff and the Active Learning Trust NQT programme.


For September 2019 we are looking to recruit an outstanding Humanities NQT.  The successful applicant will have:

A desire to develop their knowledge and become experts in their field
