13 May

On Friday 29th April, 15 children from Year One went to Eversheds law firm in Cambridge with some children from Chesterton Primary on an Enabling Enterprise Challenge Day. The children were taken on a tour of the offices and were able to see where different people worked, the cafe and the reprographics room. Lawyers from the firm then challenged and worked with the children to design a new area of their office where they could work, have fun, eat and relax. The children worked really well with their teams and came up with some fantastic ideas including having a swimming pool, hot chocolate bar and beds in the office! They then presented their ideas to the lawyers. It was a brilliant day where children were able to use the challenge skills we encourage in school.
